Policy Statement

All members, volunteers, and visitors to Woking Squash Club are expected to behave in a manner consistent with the values of respect, fairness, and sportsmanship, in line with England Squash Codes of Conduct.

This Code applies at all times when representing or participating in activities at the Club, including training, matches, competitions, events, and online interactions.

Expected Behaviour

All individuals must:

• Treat others with dignity and respect at all times

• Compete fairly and within the rules of squash

• Respect the decisions of referees, markers, and officials

• Show respect towards opponents, coaches, volunteers, and spectators

• Use club facilities responsibly

• Refrain from abusive, discriminatory, intimidating, or bullying behaviour, including online

Juniors and Parents

• Juniors must follow the guidance of coaches and supervisors at all times

• Parents and carers are expected to promote positive behaviour, respect officials and opponents, and support this Code

Breaches of this Code

Breaches of this Code will be addressed under the Club’s Complaints and Disciplinary Policy.
Serious or repeated breaches, including any safeguarding concerns, may result in suspension or termination of membership and may be referred to England Squash where appropriate.
